In the summer of 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, Casey & Mike were sitting in Hamilton Park in downtown Jersey City, enjoying the sunshine, surrounded by the many families looking for a break from the inside of their homes…

A little boy was clearly not ready to leave the park and his parents were helpless in the face of the ensuing meltdown…

With a professional eye, Casey casually commented that there was a better way to handle the meltdown.

Curious, Mike asked what Casey would do differently.

She explained what she would have done to try to prevent the meltdown and how she would have handled it if had happened.

Marveling at the approach, Mike remarked, “It’s too bad we can’t take all that knowledge in your head and give it to parents.”

And then they said, “Why can’t we?”
